Description

The procedure concerns the announcement of the commencement of a profession of technician for cars - motorcycles - mopeds, of all specialties, to the competent Transport and Communications Directorate of the relevant regional unit of the country. In particular, the procedure concerns the professions described in paragraph 2 of Article 2 of Law 1575/1985, as amended by paragraph 4(a) of Article 9 of Law 3710/2008 and is applicable, as well as the technicians of digital tachographs as defined in paragraph 1.(b) of Article 14 of Law 3534/2007.

Notes:

In case that the submission of the application-announcement is made by a representative, a signature authenticity certificate is required on the request submitted by the Police or any public authority or through the website: www.gov.gr. The Application must contain the necessary elements of the identity card (full name, date of birth, profession, home address, card number). If the person concerned requests the specificity of the digital tachograph technician, this application shall be lodged in accordance with the model set out in Annex I to Ministerial Decision 22802/1629/2008 (FEK B 861).

An appeal may be brought against the decision by any person having a legitimate interest, before the Coordinator of Decentralised Administration of the Region (up to the definition of Supervisor of the Organisation of Local Authority), within 15 days after having taken note of the decision, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 227 and 238 of Law 3852/2010 (FEK 87 A), as amended by Articles 118 and 131 of Law 4555/2018 (FEK 133 A). The same provisions provide for an appeal, both against the decision and against the omissions of legal action by the competent bodies, by anyone with a legitimate interest, within the same time limit of fifteen (15) days after becoming aware of it.

Notes: The prior service in a similar job position shall be determined in accordance with the degree of study they hold and shall not be taken into account if eight (8) years have elapsed since the end of the course (in the case where the craftsman has the required qualification). The minimum qualification in similar work shall be eight (8) years and must have been completed within the last fifteen years (in case the craftsman not having the required degree). If the service has been provided abroad, the certificate of employment must be accompanied by an official translation into the Greek language. If the work experience has been spent abroad, the work certificate must be accompanied by an official translation into Greek. Description Signature of the administrative act: Where, following the verification of the supporting documents accompanying the announcement of commencement of the profession of a craftsman, the competent Directorate for Transport and Communications finds that the latter is complete and correct, it shall issue to the person concerned a good certificate of initiation of an occupation as a workshop technician for cars, motorcycles and mopeds.
