Requirements

  • 1 Labour The applicant must be legally exercising the relevant profession in the Member State of establishment.

  • 2 Tax The applicant must have a declaration of commencement of business activity at the competent Tax Office (D.O.Υ.).

  • 3 Educational The applicant must have a sufficient knowledge of the Greek language.

  • 4 Conditions for non-commission of criminal offenses The applicant must not have been irrevocably convicted of the offences: imprisonment or imprisonment for antiquity, robbery, robbery, manslaughter with intent, smuggling, possession, use or trafficking of drugs, exploitation of prostitutes and human trafficking, seduction, rape, forced sexual intercourse, theft, forgery, fraud, embezzlement, illegal fishing with the use of explosives or chemical or plant substances, causing a shipwreck with intent, the law on intermediaries. In the case of a legal person, it is submitted in the name of the legal representative.

    Notes In case the declaration is submitted to a point of Single Contact (KEP – EKE), an official of the point of Single Contact (KEP – EKE) forwards the declaration with the attached supporting documents to the Secretariat and Information Technology Office of the Port Authority.

    Description The applicant presents the protocol number received by the General Police Office and an official of the General Police Office completes, stamps and signs the Certificate of Application Submission and then delivers it to the applicant.

    Description An official of the General Police Office checks the completeness of the supporting documents.

    Notes If deficiencies are found, the official shall contact the applicant by telephone and ask him/her to provide the correct supporting documents. The applicant should submit the requested supporting documents to the General Police Office.

  • 7 Preparation and signing of a draft Certificate by an official of the General Police Office

    Description An official of the General Police Office shall draw up and sign the draft Certificate of Legitimate Conditions and forwards it to the Head of the General Police Office. If the applicant does not submit the correct documents requested instead of a Certificate of Legitimate Conditions Fulfilment, the official of the General Police Office shall draw up a document rejecting the application with clear and detailed reasoning.
