Each of those shall: - Have a total length of 5-10 meters - Possess a valid sailing licence - Be equipped with a Quick-stop system - Satisfy the provisions of the CE legislation (Submission of compliance statements for the vessel and the engine) - Bear on both sides the signs: “ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΤΙΚΟ - Training Boat” - Be insured as training vessels in accordance with applicable provisions. - No more than 15 years shall have passed since their registration in the Small Vessel Registration Books (BEMS). If more years have passed, the boats may still be used, provided that every year an Attestation by an Authorized Body or a qualified engineer or qualified naval engineer is submitted, stating that propulsion engines still meet the requirements of the applicable regulations and provisions and are operating in a satisfactory condition.
