                Description If, during the check of the supporting documents and the ex officio search of the applicant's criminal record, it is found that the uploaded supporting documents are not complete and correct (as applicable), or that the applicant has been convicted of specific offences that do not permit the exercise of teaching work, or that in general a decision announcing the commencement of practising the profession of teaching cannot be issued for any reason, in accordance with the legislation in force, then the electronic application is rejected and an automated information message is sent to the applicant's email through the platform. Communication then follows between the teacher and the competent Directorate of Secondary Education, in order to be informed of the reasons for rejection of his/her application so that, if the conditions are met, he/she may submit a new application.
