6 Technical The Unit must have modern fire safety means according to the ‘New Building Fire Safety Regulation’ or in accordance with the instructions of the relevant Fire Service for existing buildings prior to the application of the Rules of Procedure.

7 Urban planning After the approval of the plans in terms of functionality, the complete file shall be submitted to the competent Urban Planning Service (or Urban Office) for the issue of the Construction Licence (including approved functionality plans). For existing buildings, which have a legitimate building licence, the same procedure shall be followed, but a new building licence shall be issued by the competent Office for Urban Planning in accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of the GOK of Law 1577/1985, as amended and valid.
