The interested party must have announced the profession of Installation Engineer or 2. The interested party must have obtained the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Specialization Chief Technician Installation Engineer Licence or 3. As long as the person concerned is a citizen of an EU member state and has acquired his professional qualifications in another member state, either as self-employed or as an employee, his professional qualifications must be recognized by the competent body of the country.

If the person concerned is a Chief Technician Installation Engineer of 1st or 2nd or 3rd Specialty, he must have acquired 8 months’ experience as an Installation Technician in installations of the 1st Specialty. Where the person concerned has completed a specific vocational training programme, the corresponding prior experience required may be replaced up to 25 % of the completion of one or more specific vocational training programmes, following the issue of a certificate of notice or a valid licence.
