2 Professional For the purpose of authorising an examination for the purpose of obtaining a licence for an architect of an electric welder in order to qualify for a second class (extension of specialty) or (c) If the person concerned is employed as an electroplant at the time of publication of the MED 115/2012, he must hold one of the eligible diplomas of study of the national or foreign State at their equivalent and his pre-service must be assessed according to the qualifications of the competent institution of the Member State of the EU and has acquired his professional qualifications in another Member State either as an employed or self-employed person.

3 Prior Service For the approval of participation in exams for the purpose of obtaining a master welder license Bclass-1st part: In case the interested party is a journeyman welder and has: - diploma of Vocational Schools (EPA.S) specializing in Bodywork or Bodywork Technicians or Metal Construction Technicians or Shipbuilding Industry Technicians, must have acquired 2 months of previous service or - Technical Vocational High School (T.E.L) degree in the Mechanical Sector or Technical Vocational School (T.E.E) 2nd Cycle Mechanical Sector degree or Vocational High School (E.P.A.) Diploma in the Mechanical Sector, specializing in Mechanical Installations and Construction, must have acquired 6 months of previous service or - degree from Technical and Vocational Schools of Mechanical specializations or T.E.E. 1st Cycle of the Mechanical Sector, must have acquired 10 months of service or - high school diploma of compulsory education, and must have completed 18 years of age, must have 18 months of previous service. In case the interested party is a journeyman welder and does not have a degree, the required previous service is eighteen (18) months. In case the interested party is a 2nd class master welder, he must have acquired 6 months of previous service as a welder technician (extension). In the event that the interested party of any of the above categories has attended a special professional training program, the corresponding prerequisite prior service required may be replaced by up to 25% of the attendance of one or more special professional training programs, after the issuance of a certificate of announcement or a valid license. In the event that the interested party holds a degree or qualification from schools of the country with an equivalent title and a corresponding specialty, which become equal and corresponding to the titles of the above cases, he must have acquired previous service according to the qualification. Those who hold a degree obtained abroad (within and outside the EU) of a corresponding specialty, as long as it has been recognized as equivalent to the above-mentioned degrees, their seniority is equivalent to the recognition they have received. In general, for the acquisition of electric welder licenses, it is allowed that one third (1/3) of the previously required experience has been spent on electric welding.

4 Educational For the purpose of authorising the participation in an examination for the purpose of obtaining a licence as an architect of an electrical fastener in Class 1, Part 1, if the person concerned has obtained a degree after the granting of the licence concerned, he shall prove it by depositing the corresponding qualification.
