|process_remarks=Under normal circumstances, the National Temporary Travel Document is not issued to permanent residents of the area in which the Consular Authority is established. It is issued only in exceptional cases. The duration of validity of the provisional travel document does not normally exceed 15 days and does not replace the issue of a normal Greek passport. It is also noted that under Article 4(6) of the Immigration and Social Integration Code (A 1980) it is not prohibited to enter Greece of a person who is proven to have the Greek nationality or nationality of the EU Member State and is still deprived of a passport or other travel document.

|process_remarks=Under normal circumstances, the national emergency travel document is not issued to residents of the area where the consular authority is based. It is only granted in exceptional cases. The duration of the emergency travel document does not normally exceed 15 days and does not replace the issuance of an ordinary Greek passport.
 +
It should also be noted that, pursuant to Article 4(6) of Law 4251/2014 of the Migration and Social Integration Code (Government Gazette, Series I, No 80), a person who is proved to be a Greek citizen or a citizen of an EU Member State cannot be refused entry into Greece, even if they does not have a passport or other travel document.

|process_evidence_note=The procedure concerns the issue of an electronic responsible declaration by the person concerned, without a visit to a store of administrative authority or JEP. You can enter the e-mail address in the following two ways: (a) by your personal web banking codes in one of the available banks; or (b) by your personal access codes at the TAXISnet (after entering once with the web banking codes, to confirm your mobile phone number); then you will receive confirmation codes with SMSs on your mobile. The electronic responsible statement you will issue is legally equivalent to a responsible declaration bearing the authentic signature and you can either send it electronically, or print it and deposit it on a public service. At the same time, you will have the right to sign the form of the declaration of responsibility under Law 1599/86 (Article 8) and submit it to a responsible service as a reasoned submission.
+
|process_evidence_note=The procedure involves the person concerned issuing an electronic solemn declaration without needing to visit an administrative authority or a Citizens’ Service Centre (KEP).
 +
You can access the service for issuing an electronic solemn declaration in the following two (2) ways: a) using your personal web banking codes for one of the available banks or b) using your personal TAXISnet passwords (after logging in once with your web banking codes to confirm your mobile phone number).
 +
You will then receive confirmation codes by text message on your mobile phone.
 +
The electronic solemn declaration that you will issue is legally equivalent to a solemn declaration bearing an authentic signature and you can either send it electronically or print it out and submit it to a public authority. At the same time, citizens retain the right to physically sign a solemn declaration pursuant to Article 8 of Law 1599/86, and to submit it to the competent authority as a supporting document.

The Greek salaried consular authorities as authorities of the assisting Member State notify the Member State of nationality, as soon as possible, that an EU ETD has been issued and the identity of the person to whom the EU ETD was issued.
