Description

The procedure is the first part for the final issuance of the Chief Technician of Oxygen-Welder A class licence. More specifically, the parts of the process are:

1. Authorisation of participation in examinations for the purpose of obtaining a licence of Chief Technician of Oxygen-Welder A class - the final stage is the issuance of a Certificate (Attestation) of Submission of Supporting Documents – and

2. Issuance of the licence of Foreman of Chief Technician of Oxygen-Welder A class - the final stage is the issuance of the relevant licence.

Approval of participation in examinations: With the completion of the present procedure, the applicant is issued a "Certificate of submission of supporting documents", according to article 5 par.4 of the PD 112/2012, for the Authorisation for Taking an Examination to Obtain the Oxygen-Welder Chief Technician Licence of Class A (2nd part). The aforementioned certificate is issued within an exclusive period of 15 days from the receipt of the request and the necessary supporting documents to the service responsible for issuing the final act, if the application is complete (time is reserved for the Issuing Authority).

In case of inability to present the above-mentioned supporting documents, as a result of the destruction of records or employment records or from another cause, the following may be accepted as evidence: Booklets of insurance stamps, as well as any other public document, from which the employment of the applicant in a job position with the same or related object is deduced and the interested party must substantiate in his/her application the reasons for which he/she is unable to provide the necessary supporting documents. One or more supporting documents are submitted that cover as a minimum the required total duration of previous professional experience. If the previous experience was acquired in another EU member state the corresponding supporting documents must be validated for their authenticity by the respective competent authorities of that Member State Proof of Previous Service
