- a) fall within the scope of Article 1(2) of Fire Service Regulation No 13/2021 (Government Gazette, Series II, No 5519), but have not fully completed their obligation to install a permanent water-based fire suppression network or an automatic fire suppression system.
- b) fall within the scope of Article 1(2.1) of Fire Service Regulation No 13/2021 (Government Gazette, Series II, No 5519), but for which deviations from the passive fire protection study description have been identified, which affect aspects of the active fire protection study (Annex B).
- c) fall within the scope of Article 1(2.2) and (2.3) of Fire Service Regulation No 13/2021 (Government Gazette, Series II, No 5519), but which have not fully implemented their obligations with regard to integrated structural fire protection features.
Unless otherwise stipulated by fire department or special fire protection provisions, the duration of the temporary (active) fire protection certificate may not exceed six (6) months.
Undertakings and facilities that have already been granted a temporary (active) fire protection certificate do not have the right to seek reissue.
A prerequisite for the granting of a temporary (active) fire protection certificate is completion of the remaining fire protection measures and the installation of equipment provided for in the respective study. This certificate shall also specify any additional or increased fire protection measures and equipment required by the fire department and the deadlines by which they must be completed.
As of entry into force of Fire Service Regulation No 13/2021 (Government Gazette, Series II, No 5519), paragraph 63 of Joint Ministerial Decision No 3021/19/6/1986 ‘Limitation of certificates and other supporting documents required by the current provisions for the processing of citizens’ cases by public sector services’ is no longer applicable (Government Gazette, Series II, No 847).Last update

- From the date of entry into force of the information system, in accordance with the accreditation act of the President of the TEI, provided for in the No. PNEN/DACC/933111/3679/2021 Decision of the Secretary of State for Environment and Energy (B 4874), the procedure for the submission, verification, management and monitoring of the workflow for the adoption of this administrative fire protection acts shall be carried out electronically through the information system ‘E-Authorities’, upon request by an authorised engineer and the submission of the necessary documents and evidence. Access to the ‘E-Authorities’, with regard to the adoption of the administrative fire protection acts, shall be carried out through the Single Digital Portal of Public Administration (Gov.gr), which shall be used by all stakeholders in the procedures for the adoption of those acts, namely the competent Firefighting Services (Futures or Local DCFS).
- Access to ‘e-Licences’ for the issuing of administrative fire protection acts is via the Public Administration’s Single Digital Portal (gov.gr), which is used by all parties involved in procedures for issuing the abovementioned documents, namely the competent fire service (offices or local fire safety prevention and suppression departments) and authorised administrators.
