If medical certificates are attached, the renewal shall be valid for three years starting from the date of issue of the medical certificates.

Instead of doctors’ certificates, a clear copy of the applicants licence to drive a car, motorcycle or moped may be submitted, in which case the renewed high-speed craft operators licence shall be valid for as long as the drivers licence submitted.

Issue of the licence and issue of the Certificate

The competent Port Authority shall issue a high-speed craft operator certificate, valid for a period of 60 days from its date of issue. The licence to operate a high-speed craft shall subsequently be issued to the applicant.
