Description
The procedure relates to actions to be taken by the main tourist accommodation operator (hotel, organised tourist camping site, youth hostels) before the business starts its operation. The notification procedure has replaced the Special Operation Mark. The planned inspection of the lawful operation of the accommodation facilities shall be carried out on an ex post basis by the competent authorities.

Notes:
The platform lists on a case-by-case basis: number of building permit or certificate of completion of the conservation procedure, reference number of fire safety certificate and the environmental terms approval decision (AEPO) or subjection to standard environmental commitments, number of certificate of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and number of decision approving the distinctive title, as well as the fee payment code.

Existence of a building permit or construction permit issued by the relevant local authority or other competent authority:
For sites which have been conserved, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of Law 3843/2010 (Government Gazette, Series I, Issue 62), a copy of the application confirming that the site conservation procedure has been completed shall be kept at the facility, in accordance with Article 6(5) of Law 3843/2010 (Government Gazette, Series I, Issue 62). For constructions or uses that have been subjected to the provisions of Article 24 of Law 4014/2011 (Government Gazette, Series I, Issue 209) and the provisions of Law 4178/2013, the certificate of completion of the procedure, in accordance with Article 2 of Decision 41498/26.9.2011 of the Minister for Administrative Reform and e-Governance, the Minister for the Environment, Energy and Climate Change and the Minister for Justice, Transparency and Human Rights (Government Gazette, Series I, Issue 2167) or the certificate of payment of 30% of the total fine from the IT system of the Technical Chamber of Greece shall be kept at the facility.

The interested party submits an application for notification via the electronic notify business system (https://www.notifyRegional Tourism Service (PYT) for 1-3* hotels, campibusiness.gov.gr/assets/index.html) to (a) the competent ng sites and youth hostels or to (b) the Special Authority for Promoting and Licensing of Tourism Investment Projects (EYPATE) for 4-5* hotels with a capacity of more than 100 beds and camping sites of more than 100 people.
Each notification submitted shall receive a unique electronic number through the system.

Description
The competent PYT (Tourist Businesses and Professions Department) or EYPATE shall forward the notification, within 5 business days, to the competent Fire Department, Health Service, Labour Inspectorate authority, City Planning Service, Environment Service, Environment, Construction, Energy and Mines Inspectorate, Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and any other competent authority at its discretion and they may carry out the inspections provided for by law.
