The declaration is generated electronically, stored in the citizen’s digital mailbox and also transmitted to the digital mailbox of the authority selected in the previous step. The declaration is notified to the digital mailbox of the Directorate of Passports and Security Documents / Hellenic Police Headquarters, which is responsible for updating the register of passports of Greek citizens regarding the cancellation of the passport due to loss. National and international (Schengen – Interpol) databases of sought travel documents are updated at the same time.
