Description If a passport has been identified, which has not been cancelled for any reason, the citizen shall select the Police or Consular Authority within whose competence his loss took place.

Production of a declaration

Description The statement is produced electronically, stored in the citizen's box and is also sent to the Authority's office selected in the previous step. The declaration is communicated to the passport and security documents directorate/S.A. who is responsible for informing the Greek Citizens' Passport Register of the cancellation of the passport due to loss. At the same time, national and international databases of sought travel documents are updated.
