After the expiration of the three (3) months deadline, it is presumed that the profession is practiced freely (article 3 of Law 3919/2011 (Government Gazette 32 / AD / 02-3-2011). The applicant may request by the competent administrative authority (competent Port Authority) an attestation according to par. 4 ed. c of article 10 of 3230/2004 (Government Gazette 44 / AD / 11-2-2004).

The Administrative Policing Department checks the completeness of the prerequisite supporting documents attached to the application - solemn declaration.
Notes
If the supporting documents are assessed as incomplete, the Administrative Policing Department drafts and signs a document listing the deficiencies and the deadline for submitting the relevant supporting documents, and forwards it to the Head of the Directorate of Port Police for signature. The Head of the Directorate of Port Police signs the relevant document and returns it to the Administrative Policing Department. The Administrative Policing Department forwards the digitally signed document to the applicant by email. The legal representative of the Organisation sends the supporting documents requested from them or provides the required clarifications requested from them by email to the Directorate of Port Police. The applicant may request in writing an extension for their submission of up to sixty (60) days for two reasons: a) if the supporting documents submitted require, in the Service’s judgment, further investigation or clarifications and b) if one or more supporting documents have not been submitted on time for reasons of force majeure. The Directorate of Port Police receives, registers and assigns the applicant’s extension request to the Administrative Policing Department. The secretariat of the Directorate of Port Police registers the interested party’s reply document, which is assigned to the Administrative Policing Department. The Administrative Policing Department checks all supporting documents again.
