Description

The procedure is addressed to citizens of the United Kingdom who are beneficiaries of the Withdrawal Agreement of the United Kingdom from the European Union, and who, in the event of loss, theft or damage of their residence document under the Agreement of Withdrawal or change of their data, may request the competent police services to replace it.

Application for the replacement of the residence document under the Withdrawal Agreement in case of loss, theft, damage or alteration of the holders data.

Notes:

The application for a residence permit shall be made either by a single person or by an authorised lawyer or by a spouse, ascendants and adult descendants in the competent authorities concerned; the authorisation shall be demonstrated in writing with the authenticity of the signature of the authorising officer certified by any public authority. In the case of minor children, the application shall be submitted either by the parent having custody or by a lawyer duly authorised by the person having custody. Where custody is exercised by both parents, the presence in person of one parent and the written consent of the other parent, whose handwritten signature shall be certified by any public authority, shall be sufficient.

        Against the decision to reject the request, the person concerned shall be entitled, within twenty (20) days following its notification, to bring an action (territorial) in accordance with the provisions of Article 31 of Directive 2004/38/EC before the person responsible for the Directorate of Police or Immigration of Attica and Thessaloniki, who shall decide on the matter within thirty (30) days.
