Description
The Directorate for Technical Professions and Installation Safety of the Ministry of Development and Investments examines the declaration and supporting documents.
Notes
Where there are well-founded doubts as to the authenticity of the submitted supporting documents, this is notified in writing to the provider and a further reasonable deadline for issuing the certificate is set in order to investigate the matter.
For the first provision of services, the Directorate for Technical Professions and Installation Safety of the Ministry of Development and Investments, if it considers it necessary in order to avoid serious harm to the health or safety of the recipient of the service due to the provider's lack of professional qualifications, carries out, before the first provision of services, a check of the provider's professional qualifications for the relevant profession. If, during the check, the Directorate finds that there is a substantial difference between the provider's professional qualifications and the training required in Greece, and considers that this may be harmful to public health or safety, it asks the provider to prove that they possess the required knowledge and skills through an aptitude test.
Where an aptitude test or practical examination is required (only for welding and the operation of construction machinery), the provider must arrange for a certificate of successful examination to be submitted to the Directorate within one month of its issue.
