The administrative authority to which the application is submitted must notify the person concerned of its decision on the application within thirty (30) days at the latest, unless a different deadline is provided for by special provisions.

In accordance with Article 7(3) of the AD 106/2007, the status of an employed or self-employed person who is no longer an employed person or who does not have an independent economic activity in the Greek territory in the following cases: (a) if the person concerned is temporarily incapable of work as a result of sickness or accident; (b) if the person concerned has been registered as an unintentionally unemployed person who has been employed for more than one year and has been employed for more than one year, and has been registered as an employed person seeking employment in the competent employment service; (c) if the person concerned has been registered as an unintentionally unemployed person after the expiry of the employment contract of employment of a fixed period of less than one year or since he has become an unintentionally unemployed person during the first 12 months and has been registered as an employed person as an unemployed person in the relevant employment service which is not yet in receipt of employment.
