Description
Street food market vendor licences are granted to natural and legal persons who:
a) are undertakings preparing or serving food and drink at movable or temporary premises; and
b) operate mobile canteens, excluding portable roasting/baking facilities;
for activities at street food markets.
Such licences are valid for between one month and 3 years with a right to renew.
Licences are granted by municipalities nationwide following a call for tenders.
Licence holders must renew their stand for the same period of time, provided they accept the financial price the municipality proposes to them.
Otherwise, the stand will be re-advertised; the aforementioned price offered will be used as the starting price in a highest bidder tender procedure.

Any person with a legitimate interest may file an objection against the decision regarding the results of the call for tenders, before the competent authority, within a deadline of 15 days from the date of publication of the results.
The decision of the competent authority on the objection must be issued within 10 days from the date of submission.
The decision regarding the objection may be appealed by any person with a legitimate interest before the competent administrative Court of First Instance, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 63 to 70 of Law 2717/1999 on the Greek Code of Administrative Procedure (Government Gazette, Series I, No 97).
