Rules concerning a lack of reply from the competent authority and the legal consequences for the use:
In case the above deadline expires and no response from the competent authority has been provided, the application of the interested party is considered approved and the licence is considered issued (par. 4 of article 14 of law 3844/2010 (Government Gazette 63 / A / 03-05-2010).
The interested party, in the aforementioned case of tacit approval, may request a relevant attestation from the competent authority, in accordance with par. 4 of article 10 of law 3230/2004 (Government Gazette 44 / A / 11-02 -2004).

Prior Service
Applicants shall have two years of proven professional experience after obtaining their basic degree.
Professional experience means working on conservation projects of any public or private body, provided that the project was supervised by a Department for the Ministry of Culture or that the supervising conservator of antiquities and works of art was registered in the Register of Conservators of Antiquities and Works of Art, as well as any experience acquired in related bodies in EU member states.

Previous service is proven, in cases involving the Ministry of Culture, through an analytical attestation of work experience (issued by the Operator/Entity), where all the daily wages are mentioned, as well as the topic/subject of engagement from which the speciality is proven.

The 24-month experience in conservation work in the requested specialty, regardless of the degree, in all other cases is proven as follows by the entities:
A) Sub-case of salaried employees: attestation of detailed previous service by the employing entity, certifying in detail the daily wages, the type of conservation work carried out which proves the required experience, accompanied by an attestation of the relevant social insurance agency for the above period, as well as by an attestation of supervision by a conservator of antiquities and works of art, registered in the Register of Conservators of Antiquities and Works of Art.
B) Sub-case of freelance service provider: copy of the project contract stating the period and the actual work involved, as well as copies of invoices for rendered services, an attestation of commencement of business activity of the applicant and an attestation of supervision by a conservator of antiquities and works of art, registered in the Register of Conservators of Antiquities and Works of Art.
Regarding applicants with previous service abroad, the supervision conservator is not required to be registered in the Register of Conservators of Antiquities and Works of Art.
