Title

Start-up Disclosure titled: Notification of Operation (Article 167 of Law 44422/2016 (A 230) of a Maintenance or Repair Garage for Cars, Motorcycles, Mopeds, Normal and heavy vehicles.

Notes:

The notification of the opening of a maintenance or repair workshop for cars, motorcycles, motorcycles, mopeds is made according to the model of the annex of the No. 314766 (FEK B 5272/12.11.2021) ministerial decision. The same template also applies to the notification of any change in the original for the operation of the workshop, such as change of data, change of operator, change of place of activity, etc. The notification includes the necessary information on the activity carried out and is submitted by the operator of the activity, who is solely responsible for the information contained therein. No supporting documents shall be submitted with the notification. The operator of the workshop must keep the required supporting documents, as per Article 4 of the prot. No. 314766/2021 (FEK 5272 B), along with the proof of submission of all notifications of the operation of the establishment, at the place where the activity is carried out.

The decision, among other things, provides for the data to be recorded in the Digital Register concerning the operating garages and their responsible technicians, vehicle stations, car washes, etc., as well as the issuance of a Certificate of Registration of these data.

1 Initiation of a notification procedure

Description Submission of notice of commencement of operation or notification of a change of information notification of change of details by the person concerned to the competent department.

Notes Any notification shall be made through the Integrated Information System for Activity and Control (OPS-ADE) to the Transport and Communication Service of the relevant regional unit. Until the OPS-ADE starts to operate, as far as the notification of the activity is concerned, the notification of commencement of operation or change of data shall be submitted in paper or electronic form, either directly to the competent authority or to any physical or electronic Citizen Service Point (KEP) operating as a Point of Single Contact (EKE).

2 Receipt of a start-up notification

Description Submission of a notification of the opening of a workshop by the interested party to the competent authority.

Notes Once the notification has been submitted, the operator can start operating its activity. No supporting documents shall be submitted with the notification. The operator must keep all supporting documents at the place where the activity is carried out.

3 Receipt of data change notification

Description Submission of a data change notification by the person concerned to the competent authority.

Notes The procedure followed for submitting the notification of a change in the data to be changed is the same as the initial notification procedure described in Article 3 of the joint ministerial decision No 31466/2021 (FEK B 5272). In the event of a change in the place where the activity shall be carried out, the entity is required to submit a new notification of the new area of activity.

5 Receipt of a closure notification

Notes In the event of the termination of the activity on the site where it is carried out, the operator of the activity shall make a notification of the termination. For the submission of the notification of termination of operation, the procedure of the initial notification described in Article 3 of the joint ministerial decision no. 314766/2021 (FEK B 5272) is followed accordingly.

6 Issue of notification evidence

7 Notification of notification
