Description
This procedure refers to a work permit for Sundays and public holidays and is addressed to citizens and businesses. With a permit from the Labour Inspectorate, staff are allowed to work on Sundays and public holidays in corporations dealing with the receipt and distribution of foreign press, in currency exchange departments, in cleaning, maintenance and the repair of facilities (if work is rendered impossible on other working days), in cases of urgent work due to the risk of destruction of products or damage of facilities, and for merchandise inventory or window dressing.

Description
From the home screen, the employer selects "Applications for granting a permit to work on Sunday and on a Public Holiday" and then "New Application for a permit to work on Sunday and on a Public Holiday". The electronic application form opens and the employer selects from the calendar the specific Sunday or public holiday. The user then selects the branch (registered office or branch) for which the application is submitted and all fields in the "Place of Work Provision" section are automatically completed. In the "Exact Place" field, if the employees will work at the branch premises, its address is entered again, as above. If the employees will work at a different place, the address of the place where they will work on Sunday or on the public holiday is entered in that field.
The user selects the number of men and women to whom the application relates and then, after downloading the "Suggested form" containing the details of the application, completes all fields and attaches it. It is noted that the attachment of another document, other than the suggested form, is permitted, provided that this document includes the following information:
FIRST NAME, SURNAME, AMKA, SPECIALTY, EXACT DATE AND HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT, DAY OF COMPENSATORY REST PER EMPLOYEE and JUSTIFICATION FOR THE NEED TO WORK ON SUNDAY / PUBLIC HOLIDAY.
It must also bear the stamp of the business with its details and the signature of the responsible person. If the document does not meet the above conditions, the application is rejected.
By pressing "Submit", the application receives a protocol number and appears in the list of all applications, while from "View" the user can see their application and print it.
Notes
A separate application is required for each Sunday or public holiday.
The deadline for submitting the request is 13:00 on the immediately preceding working day before the public holiday or Sunday to which the request relates.
