Description

The procedure concerns notification of the appointment of an occupational physician.

That notification must be made electronically through the digital portal of the Labour Inspectorate, hli.gov.gr, by undertakings with more than 50 employees or where more specific factors, such as the activity of the undertaking, e.g. the existence of hazardous chemical or biological agents, require such an appointment to be made.

In specific cases where the undertaking is unable to obtain codes for the ERGANI system and therefore does not have an account on the Labour Inspectorate’s information system and therefore its data is kept on the hli.gov.gr digital portal (e.g. foreign undertakings), the notification must be made by submitting the required forms to the competent Health and Safety Inspection Department of the Labour Inspectorate.

            • 1 Possession of passwords to enter software An undertaking which intends to notify the appointment of an occupational physician must have codes for the IKA Fund / ERGANI systems and must have set up an account as a ‘Company’ on the Labour Inspectorate’s Integrated Information System platform.               Description Using the undertaking’s access codes, the competent employee must log in to the undertaking’s account on the Labour Inspectorate Information System and select the electronic service ‘Notification of appointment of an occupational physician/Safety Technician’. Then they must select ‘Declare total number of employees’ so that the system automatically calculates the minimum number of hours the occupational physician must be employed at the undertaking as a whole, based on the data entered. The competent employee of the undertaking must then select ‘Notifications of appointments of occupational physicians’ at undertakings and branches and enter the information requested, separately for the registered office, and for each branch or for any other place of work. Finally, the notification is dispatched to the occupational physician named by selecting ‘Submit’.
