For the issuance of the certificate of waiver or non-waiver of inheritance, the competent courts are the local Courts of First Instance where the deceased was domiciled at the time of his/her death and if he/she had no domicile, his/her residence and if he/she had no residence either, the single-member Court of First Instance of the capital of the state, for deaths with dates up to 28-02-2013.
