            • 8 Medical Trainee drivers and drivers must be examined by a specialist doctor before undertaking any procedure concerning their driving licence for which a medical examination is required: a) Pathologist and the related specialties of general practitioner, haematologist, gastroenterologist, gastroenterologist, endocrinologist, rheumatologist, cardiologist, cardiologist, pulmonologist, nephrologist and a non-specialist doctor who has been licensed for at least five (5) years. As part of the examination and history taking, in case of a suspected disease concerning arthymia, hearing, the nervous system, or any other disease for which a specialists opinion is required, the examinee is referred to a doctor of the corresponding specialty. (b) Ophthalmologist, (c) an otorhinolaryngologist (compulsory for those over 80 years of age), (d) Neurologist or psychiatrist (compulsory for persons over 80 years of age). The aforementioned doctors shall give an opinion on the state of health of the person concerned and issue medical health certificates which must include the obligatory classification of the person concerned as INCOMPETENT or NOT INCOMPETENT.
