The beneficiary of refugee status will have to submit an application to a Passport Office depending on the region where he/she resides in order to obtain a printed single-type residence permit.
Notes
In order to submit the application, the beneficiary must have the following documents with him/her
1) An exact copy of the decision of the Head of the Regional Asylum Office indicating that the Asylum Service has approved the granting of a residence permit.
2) The International Protection Applicants Bulletin stamped with the indication "Pending Residence Permit" which he also gets from the Regional Asylum Office.
3) A recent Greek passport type photograph.
4) His/her fingerprints will also be taken.
It is noted that the beneficiary does not need to pay a fee.

Subsequently, the beneficiary of a refugee status should monitor the online communications from the Asylum Service on ready residence permits (https://migration.gov.gr/gas/aitoyntes-kai-dikaioychoi/adees-diamonis/listes-etoimon-adeion-diamonis/) and use his/her case number to check whether the authorisation is ready and to be informed of the date and time to receive it.

Description
When the beneficiary arrives at the Regional Asylum Office / Asylum Unit in order to receive his/her residence permit, the competent official asks him/her to show the receipt of documents issued by the competent police service.
It is noted that in order to obtain his/her printed residence permit, the beneficiary should bring with him/her, in addition to the above receipt, the International Protection Applicants Card stamped with the indication "Pending Residence Permit", which he/she should hand over to the Asylum Office upon receipt of his/her residence permit.
Notes
The receipt of the residence permit will be made from the Regional Office or the Department of Asylum, which geographically corresponds to the Passport Office in which the application was made. In addition, the beneficiary should receive his/her permit in person.
