A completed table of technical details of the telecommunications facility, signed by the shipowner or their lawful representative and certified by the operator monitoring the ship, taking account of the following instructions:
• The manufacturer and type of each item of equipment shall be duly entered at the right place on the table, taking account of the corresponding declaration of conformity.
• If there is an amendment, it is not necessary to indicate all the equipment on board, only the equipment added, with a corresponding reference to the equipment removed, either in the table itself or with a separate deletion on the copy of the existing ship telecommunications station installation and operation licence.
• If there is no change in the equipment of the telecommunications facility, the phrase ‘NO CHANGE’ shall be clearly indicated in large letters in the table.

In the case of existing ships flying the Greek flag, in order to register existing equipment as pre-existing, the telecommunications station installation and operation licence issued under the previous flag, showing the equipment in question, must be submitted. If this does not arise from the licence, a copy of the GMDSS radio equipment inspection report or Record of Approved GMDSS Installation or any other official document/information from the authority that issued the
certificates of seaworthiness under the previous flag must be submitted. It is noted that if the telecommunications equipment is not registered in the foregoing and there is no valid declaration of conformity, the equipment cannot be entered in the licence as pre-existing.

The corresponding price-regulated Greek Seamen’s Pension Fund (NAT) stamp shall be affixed to the licence, sealed and signed, and a receipt in favour of the Special Sector of Economic Assistance of Shareholders of the Navy Shareholder Fund (EKOEMN) shall be issued. The payment shall be made at the cashier’s department of the service in cash.
