If, at any time, during any inspection (whether electronic or in person), it is established that the registered party did not meet the requirements for registration or inclusion in the Register, the card and any administrative acts issued shall be revoked. In this case, the registered party shall be entitled to file an objection with the competent EPC2 (Employment Promotion Centre), within a strict time limit of thirty (30) days from the notification of the relevant decisions issued by the competent EPC2.

i. enter the labour market; or
ii. meet the requirements of Article 3(1) of Law 1545/1985 (Government Gazette, Series I, No 91), namely following the termination or expiry of their employment relationship, seek employment, accept employment offered to them by the competent DYPA services in their broader occupational sector, or agree to attend vocational training or retraining programmes and generally benefit from any employment opportunity within the meaning of Article 3(1) of Law 1545/1985 (Government Gazette, Series I, No 91); or
iii. hold a licence to practice a profession, whether or not insured with relevant insurance funds, provided that they do not exercise a liberal or other profession in accordance with Article 30(1) of Law 4144/2013 (Government Gazette, Series I, No 88), or be self-employed subject to compulsory insurance with the former Self-Employed Professionals Insurance Organisation (OAAE), or the former Unified Media Personnel Insurance Fund (ETAP MME) or the former Unified Insurance Fund for Self-employed Persons (ETAA), who have discontinued their professional activity, in accordance with Article 44(2) of Law 3986/2011 (Government Gazette, Series I, No 152).

Registration
The following shall not be registered in the Digital Register of DYPA:
i. individuals who are already employed and wish to seek a different position either with their current employer or with another employer; and
ii. individuals who are not considered jobseekers in accordance with Article 16 of Law 4921/2022, namely:
• individuals employed or engaged in any liberal or other profession or entrepreneurs, or individuals whose primary occupation is agricultural, forestry or livestock activities, except for individuals subject to insurance with the former Social Insurance Institute – Unified Insurance Fund for Employees (IKA-ETAM);
• spouses or children employed in a business or undertaking owned by the spouse, father or mother;
• vocational school apprentices;
• trainees without an employment relationship;
• individuals who retire from the public sector or from any primary or supplementary social insurance organisation, regardless of the amount of the pension, with the exception of those receiving a survivor’s pension under Article 16 of Law 4921/2022, as amended by Article 3(2) of Law 1545/1985;
• individuals serving in the armed forces;
• individuals serving a custodial sentence or subject to security measures or to penal correction by means of reformative or therapeutic measures, within correctional, reformatory or therapeutic institutions; and
• beneficiaries of the pre-employment programmes referred to in Article 51(7) of Law 3693/2008 (Government Gazette, Series I, No 174) on the ‘PRE-EMPLOYMENT’ programme, as in force; and
• beneficiaries of work experience acquisition programmes under Article 83 of Law 4368/2016 (Government Gazette, Series I, No 21) on work experience acquisition programmes in cooperation with private sector employers and social cooperative enterprises, as in force.

The information on the creation of a Digital Individual Action Plan with the proposed actions included therein is also displayed.

Please note that the unemployment card is not an application for a regular unemployment benefit. In order to qualify for unemployment benefits, a separate APPLICATION for REGULAR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT must be submitted.

Description
