              Description The Head of ATEEN examines the file and decides whether or not to issue a decision imposing compensation measures, namely: - an adaptation period or aptitude test, in the case of applications for recognition of professional qualifications, in accordance with Article 14 of Presidential Decree 38/2010, - a written professional equivalence test, where the examination of the application and the file reveals substantial differences between the study programme followed by the applicant and the study programme of a comparable higher education institution (AEI) degree in Greece.

              Description The Independent Department for the Implementation of European Legislation (ATEEN) issues, within three (3) months, the certificate of recognition of professional qualifications/professional equivalence of a qualification and informs the interested party. The interested party may lodge, once only, an administrative appeal before ATEEN against the decision and request the annulment or amendment of the decision of paragraph 1 of Article 54, within an exclusive deadline of sixty (60) days from its notification, and ATEEN notifies the appellant of its decision no later than within three (3) months.
