The procedure concerns the provision of a regular unemployment benefit (TEA) granted to insured persons who are competent and available for work, with an employment relationship that has expired or was terminated by the employer, during which they paid contributions to the unemployment branch of the Public Employment Service (DYPA (former OAED)). The duration of the grant varies, however the minimum period is 5 months and can be up to 12.

The application may be submitted in two ways: (a) electronically and only through the e-services of the DPRK (formerly OAED) or the Digital Gate of the Government (www.gov.gr); (a) the person concerned shall choose “SURVEILLANCE” and subsequently “APPROVAL OF APPROVAL” or (b) with a self-representative attendance to the NDP2 of the DPRK (former OAED). However, as long as the exceptional restrictive measures of the coronary are allowed, the application shall be submitted exclusively through the e-services of the DPRK (former OAED).

The application for the regular unemployment subsidy shall be submitted, after issue of an Unemployment Bulletin, either to the CSD2 office of the person concerned or to the CSD2 office of his last job. The choice of the CSD2 office is important, because that Office will be responsible for all matters relating to the insured person's grant and should be made at the request of the person concerned. The application may be submitted in two ways: (a) by electronic means and only via the ICPM e-services (formerly OAED) or the Digital Gateway of the State (www.gov.gr).
