A Civil Partnership Contract is an agreement between two adults, irrespective of their sex, to live together. It is drawn up in person in a notarial deed. The validity of the agreement starts from the submission of a copy of the notarial deed with the Registrar of their place of residence, which is registered in a special book of the Registry Office (Law 4356/2015, article 1).
