The procedure relates to the recognition of foreign second (2nd) cycle (postgraduate) academic qualifications. Interested parties can submit their applications online through the platform: https://e-doatap.doatap.gr. After logging in to the platform, interested parties can submit a relevant application with the necessary supporting documents in each case and learn about the progress and history of their applications. The recognition procedure for postgraduate degrees is aimed holders of a second cycle academic qualification; it involves recognising the equivalence of that qualification with the postgraduate degrees awarded by Greek universities.

CLARIFICATIONS:

1. To initiate the recognition procedure it is necessary to submit the required supporting documents electronically, including the supporting documents sent by universities to DOATAP for cross-checking, in accordance with the Table of Supporting Documents.
2. The competent officers at DOATAP may request additional information and invite the applicant to provide further explanations.
3. 3. A certificate of proficiency in the language of the programme of study obtained before the applicant enrolled for the programme may be requested at any stage of processing the application.

Τhe application serves as a solemn declaration under Article 8 of Law 1599/1986 (Government Gazette, Series I, No 75) for the information stated therein and the supporting documents submitted along with that application. Any inaccuracy in the information stated in the application incurs the stipulated criminal and administrative sanctions.
