|process_remarks=registration in the OAED unemployment registry is possible provided that the conditions laid down by the applicable institutional framework are met, and it can be carried out:
a) in person at the competent OAED department of the place of residence (this option is not provided for by Law 15/4/2020, due to emergency conditions);
b) online, using access codes.
Online registration with the OAED (labour employment office) will require the user’s personal taxisnet username and password or OAED identification codes for those users who already have them.
The unemployment card is valid for 3 months from its issue.
Renewal of the unemployment card is required for extension of its validity. Renewal shall take place within twenty (20) days before the expiry date of the card.
Please note that the unemployment card is not an application for a regular unemployment benefit. If at any time any check (electronic or face-to-face) reveals that the transactor did not meet the conditions for registration, the card and any administrative acts issued shall be revoked.
