- The competent officers at DOATAP may request additional information and invite the applicant to provide further explanations.

Proof of Study
A copy of the qualifications for the second (2nd) cycle of studies (master’s degree) for which recognition is sought. The qualification submitted must meet either the conditions set out in point A or those set out in point B: A) it must bear certification of the authenticity of signatures in accordance with the Hague Convention (APOSTILLE stamp)* (explanation below) and, below that lawful certification by one of the following Greek authorities: i. the translation service of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs or ii. a Greek lawyer or iii. the Embassy/Consulate of Greece in the country where the document was issued. In addition, an official translation** (explanation below) must be provided if the qualification was issued in a language other than Greek, English or French.

(B) Where it does not bear certification of the authenticity of the signatures in accordance with the Hague Convention (APOSTILLE stamp) and where the qualification was issued in Greek, English or French, a simple copy of the qualification may be attached to the application but the applicant must inform the university and send it to DOATAP for comparison (by post or electronically at protocol_A@doatap.gr).

Notes: An official transcript of records with detailed grades for all years of study which must be signed, bear the stamp of the institution and indicate the date on which the degree was awarded. Τhe fee payable for examining the application for recognition of a Master’s degree is EUR 130 00, plus stamp duty (final amount payable: EUR 133 12). That amount can deposited into DOATAP’s account with the Bank of Greece (account number: 26072595, IBAN: GR05 0100 0240 0000 0002 6072 595). Applicants requesting recognition of their qualifications must ensure their name appears on deposit slip.
