For countries that have not ratified the Convention or about which Greece has objected, and only for them, the validation is performed by the local Greek Consulate Services.                 Description The Head of the Autonomous Department for the Application of European Legislation (ATEEN) studies the file and the application and decides whether or not to issue a decision on compensatory measures, i.e. about the: - internship or aptitude test, in the case of applications for recognition of professional qualifications, in accordance with the provisions of article 14 of PD 38/2010 - written test of professional equivalence, if the examination of the application and the file show substantial differences between the study program attended by the applicant and the study program of a comparable degree of Higher Education Institutions (AEI) of Greece.

                Description The Autonomous Department for the Application of European Legislation (ATEEN) issues within three 3 months the certificate of recognition of professional qualifications / professional equivalence of a degree and informs the interested party. The interested party may file a one-time administrative appeal before the Autonomous Department for the Application of European Legislation (ATEEN) against the decision, and request the annulment or the amendment of the decision of par. 1 of article 54 within an exclusive period of sixty (60) days from its notification; the ΑΤΕΕΝ notifies the applicant of its decision at most three (3) months later.
