- e) starting a business activity with an Activity Code Number related to the subject of their activity. This obligation is subject to the following conditions applies only to licenses obtained for a two-year period and in cases where a three-month license is obtained more than once (1) per year.

Notes: For artists, the artist concerned presents a certificate of own creation. For works of art and artists, a certificate of art is presented by the Chamber of Visual Arts of Greece, which is awarded following a demonstration by the artist, which refers to the type of works of art, materials, the way it is created, any other information deemed necessary by the issuing body of the certificate, and that the works produced are works of original artistic creation of the person concerned. Owner of attestations, already issued by competent authorities pursuant to Article 45(3) of Law 4497/2017 (A 171), are not required to produce an updated attestation.

Notes: For craftsmen, the artist concerned must present a certificate of craftsmanship, issued by the Public Limited Company of Industrial Research, Technological Development and Laboratory Testing, Certification and Quality, supervised by the General Secretariat for Industry of the Ministry of Development and Investment, following a demonstration by the person concerned of the production process of the handicraft. The relevant certificate shall indicate the items produced, the machinery, materials and tools used. The holders of certificates of craft skills, which have already been issued by competent authorities in accordance with par. 3 of Article 45 of Law No. 4497/2017, are not required to submit an updated certificate.

Tax
The person concerned is obliged to start a professional activity and to use a cash register registered and connected to the information system of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (TAXIS).
Exclusions: Natural persons involved in the markets of craftsmen - artists for three (3) months per year, if they are exempt from VAT due to the amount of gross income, according to Article 39 of Law No. 2859/2000 on the Value Added Tax Code (A 248).

Administrative
For artists, the artist concerned shall provide a certificate of certification of his/her own creation. For works of art and artifacts, a certificate of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece (E.E.T.E.), which is issued after demonstration by the creator, is presented, stating the type of artwork, the materials, the method of creation, any other information deemed necessary by the body issuing the certificate, as well as that the works produced are works of original artistic creation of the person concerned. The holders of certificates of original creation already issued by competent authorities in accordance with paragraph 1 shall be entitled to receive a certificate of original creation. 3 of Article 45 of Law No. 45. 4497/2017 (A 171), are not required to submit an updated certificate.

Notes The notice is posted on the "Open Market" Integrated Information System by the authority responsible for issuing the notice and published on its website, at least thirty (30) days before the deadline for submission of applications. The notice shall include at least: the products that may be sold, the fee payable for the entire period of activity, the method and time of payment of the fee and the limits of the area of activity.
