The third-country national concerned has the right to appeal against the rejection decision. The application for treatment should be submitted within two (2) months of service of the decision. Applications for treatment are subject to a fee of EUR fifty (50). The request for treatment is submitted to the department that issued the relevant decision, which decides on it within an exclusive period of thirty (30) days from the date of submission.

1. An employment contract entered into with the third-country company and an assignment letter from the employer, demonstrating the need to renew the residence permit. The assignment letter must state: (i) the duration of the transfer and the place of establishment of the host entity, (ii) a description of the position to be filled by the third-country national, i.e. the position of manager, skilled employee or trainee, in the host entity or entities (in the case of mobility in more than one Member State); (iii) the amount of remuneration, (iv) other terms and conditions of employment during the intra-corporate transfer, and (v) evidence that the third-country national will, upon completion of the intra-corporate transfer, be transferred to an entity that belongs to the same company or group of companies and is established in a third country.
Please note that the duration of the intra-corporate transfer may not exceed three (3) years in the case of managers and skilled employees, and one (1) year in the case of trainees.

After the application is examined, the application for renewing the residence permit is rejected. The third-country national concerned has the right to appeal the rejection decision. The appeal must be submitted within two (2) months of the decision being served. Appeals must be accompanied by a fee of EUR 50. The appeal must be submitted to the agency that issued the decision in question, who must decide on the appeal within thirty (30) days of submission.
