Establishment
Where required, permanent resident status shall be certified by the mayor or the president of the community. The relevant certificate is issued if applicants actually reside in the municipality or in the community, which they shall prove with the submission of a utility bill or a copy of their tax statement from the relevant tax office (DOY). If, on justified grounds, the status of permanent resident cannot be proved by the above supporting documents, it shall be proved by the applicants by any other suitable means of proof. The applicants’ solemn declaration cannot be used as the sole means of proof.

Possession of passwords to enter software
Access to the gov.gr portal and digital issuance of the certificate requires the possession of taxisnet passwords. If the municipality of the applicants’ permanent residence is not on the list of municipalities that provide the certificate digitally, one can obtain the certificate by booking a digital appointment at myKEPlive, in order to be served by a KEP employee, where taxisnet passwords are also required.
