Appointment of instructors with specific knowledge of the vehicle control subjects taught.
a. For the ADR subject matter, the instructor must be an ADR expert or have experience in the subject matter of ADR technical vehicle inspections or have proven technical experience as an assessor in inspections of recognised ADR inspection bodies or have completed or supervised at least one doctoral thesis or postgraduate thesis on dangerous goods vehicle issues or have served on committees of international organisations dealing with dangerous goods vehicle issues.
b. For the ATP subject matter, the instructor must have experience with an ATP Agreement approved body for ATP inspections or have experience in the subject matter of ATP vehicle technical inspections, or have demonstrated technical experience as an assessor in inspections of recognized ATP inspection bodies, or have prepared or supervised at least one doctoral dissertation or masters thesis dealing with perishable food transport vehicle issues, or have served on committees of International Organizations dealing with perishable food transport issues.
