Notes: The walkability of the road is to ensure the possibility of safe movement of tourist trains in terms of rolling surface, type, thickness and strength, geometrical elements (such as radius of curvature, inclination, manoeuvre area) of the road along the entire length of the specific route. If the special route of the tourist train belongs geographically to more than one local authority, certificates are required from each local authority for the part of the special route that falls within its administrative boundaries. In the event that part of a special route, for which there is a request for the issue of a certificate of walkability, belongs to a road network outside the scope of competence of the relevant municipality, the latter shall seek, from the competent service in each case, the technical data of the roads, in order to determine whether or not the certificate of walkability for the specific special route can be issued.

Geographical
The map shows and controls that:
1. the total road route does not exceed sixteen (16) kilometers from and to the starting point (circular route). Exceptionally, with the consent of the relevant local authorities, it is possible to approve a circular route, which does not exceed twenty-five (25) kilometers, for daily tours to areas that do not present a concentration of tourist activities, but are distinguished for their special historical, archaeological and cultural interest.
2. Tour stops are defined only at points of tourist, archaeological or cultural interest and during them, all necessary measures should be taken for the safety of travelers and other traffic.
3. The starting point is located in a specially designated area, by the relevant Local Authority and this area is at least 15 meters away from the starting point or stop of urban or intercity bus line or from a parking space for public passenger cars or wheelchairs.

Technical
The accessibility of the road means ensuring the possibility of safe traffic of tourist trains in terms of rolling surface, type, thickness and strength, geometric elements (such as radius of curvature, slope, maneuvering space) of the road along the entire length of the special route. If the special route of the tourist train belongs geographically to more than one local government, certificates are required from each local government for the part of the special route that falls within its administrative boundaries.
In case a section of a special route, for which there is a request for a certificate of accessibility, belongs to a road network outside the scope of competence of the relevant Municipality, the competent municipal employee should seek, from the relevant department, the technical data of the roads, in order to decide whether or not the certificate of accessibility for the specific route can be issued.

The tourist train in its circulation must not cause damage to the archeological sites or the monuments if the special route that will be performed is a route of cultural interest (archeological sites, monuments, etc).

For Tourist trains: Fee of three hundred (300) euros in the ALE code 1450189001 in favour of the Greek State, plus 2% of "other stamp duty" in the ALE code 1110489001 and 0.4% "additional percentage of 20% on stamp duty" in the code ALE 1110403001, payable to any tax office. Alternatively, the issue of the fee may also be completed through the electronic platform e-paravolo using the taxisnet codes of the interested party, the fee code 5731, while the amount of the fee can be paid either at a bank branch cashier or through web -banking.
